The Rosedale Round Howe: Duetto Dance for Violin and Viola, by Stephen Gamble

Writer's picture: Rev Stephen GambleRev Stephen Gamble

I had a go at a social media challenge to write a piece of music in 60 minutes - this is the result. 50 minutes to sketch on paper, then about an hour to write up on a score writing programme. It was complete in my head after the 50 minutes, but did change somewhat in the writing up. Oh well, less speed more progress.

Pictured is Howe Hill in Rosedale, in the North York Moors.

The instruments are electronically generated, but I have the score if any real musicians would like to play it!
