Westgate Carr Road is a long straight lane, lined by ditches, and punctuated by occasional farm and domestic buildings. It doesn't really go anywhere, or rather it stops short of going anywhere, it is a dead end road, or perhaps better to say - a lane where the traveling can matter more than the destination. Sometimes it has for me a quiet sensation of those who have travelled that way before.
