Timings Allegro 0.00 Adagio 8.00 Allegro: A Tixover Jig. 18.02
I have been living in Rutland for a year now, having moved from England's largest county (Yorkshire) to England's smallest (Rutland). The move was the last part in getting back to work after a life changing illness, so here I am a year on pleased to be still standing. I think this music is in part a response to the landscape of Rutland, but also a response to the changed landscape of my interior world. I did not intend to write any music just now, but the music kept bugging me until I wrote it down.
The performance is of course an electronic version. I can't quite figure out how to get an increase and decrease of volume on the site I use, but it is better than the honky Midi sound that my music software produces. I have the score should anyone want to perform this.
